The Video Game Museum
After more than twenty years of preservation, restoration and transmission of the video game heritage, the MO5 association takes a historic step: the first phase of the opening of the Video Game Museum. This place, unique in France, will be entirely dedicated to the history, culture and memory of video games, its creators and its influence on contemporary society.

To all my old friends who were considered crazy in the past, to all the brilliant inventors of gaming machines who made miracles with a handful of transistors, to all the passionate players who followed us from the beginning without imagining that the whole world would join us, here is finally united at the same place our common story! A big congratulations to the MO5 association which has succeeded in gathering these decades of creativity and passion thanks to this impressive collection of machines which traces our adventure in order to make you discover it.
I therefore address you all my sincere support! I can’t wait to explore this space, to re-play some classics and to see other designers’ desire to write the sequel to this story. With all my sympathy and my encouragement.
A big congratulations to MO5 for the opening of their Museum in December... The next step of video game in Arcueil, near Paris! Just like the XIXᵉ century saw the birth of cinema and photography, the XXᵉ we have brought video game. Documenting and preserving the works that testify to the evolution of a new art constitutes a precious contribution to cultural history, and an heritage that future generations will be able to benefit from.
I am happy that there is finally a national museum of video games. A big thank you to @assomo5 for actively preserving our heritage for several decades. And I am very happy that their beautiful collection is part of the museum!
Congratulations to the MO5 team for the opening of the video game museum! The work of preserving the video game heritage provided by the association is exemplary and unique in its genre. Thanks to the persistence of MO5, it is a whole part of our culture that will pass to posterity and feed the imagination of future generations. I had the privilege to attend the announcement of their great video game museum, which will open its doors in December in Arcueil near Paris! 1200m² of retro gaming and truly archaeological treasures conserved religiously by the association for more than twenty years will finally be at the disposal of the public in a permanent way! Too eager to be there!
As a honorary member of MO5, I am deeply touched to see today a museum dedicated to the history of the JV. This place is not only an exhibition space: it is a tribute to those who built, over the decades, the identity of the French JV.
